About Diane

Diane DuBois is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist serving both the East Bay and San Francisco.

She specializes in relationship issues including dating and parenting. In addition, Diane helps people balance family and career obligations with self-care. She has also worked with hundreds of individuals on feelings of shyness, low self-esteem, grief, and depression.

Diane uses an approach to therapy combining self-psychology and cognitive therapy with structured assignments designed to assist clients in developing a greater sense of self-esteem as well as an awareness of choices that are available to them. Three hour Saturday sessions as well as thirty-minute phone sessions are also available.

Diane received her B.A. in Philosophy in 1983 from U.C. Berkeley. She attended graduate school at John F. Kennedy University and graduated as one of the top students in her class with a Clinical Psychology Degree in 1988. While in graduate school, Diane was one of a small group of students selected by the faculty to receive advanced training in psychotherapy.
